Welcome to the Adult Learning website -
Learn to Live: Live to Learn
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council adult education service is part of the Council's commitment to Lifelong Learning. You are never too old or young to learn. I would encourage the age groups to learn together and take advantage of our range of family learning courses where different generations can learn side by side.
The service is far reaching across the East Riding and tries to respond to the needs of the local communities by developing new locally delivered adult learning opportunities. The local organisers have put together varied programmes for their centres and areas.
I hope you will find something to spark an interest for you. If you need more help to choose the correct course for you please contact the centres direct where you will be given appropriate information and advice.
I hope some of the information in this website will help you choose a course to set you on the road to learning or continue along that path. Whether you want to gain a new skill, improve your chances of employment, keep your brain and mind active or gain a new qualification come along and join us. We welcome friends old and new.
"Learning can and should be fun." - Angie Butler - Learning and Skills Manager
